I am a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish). I have worked with individuals from different cultural backgrounds and different levels of acculturation. My approach to counseling is to have a foundation of trust and unconditional positive regard. Creating a safe environment for individuals to express themselves without fear of judgment is key in my counseling style. I believe it takes courage to seek help when we are going through a difficult time. There are moments in life in which we are not able to approach even those closest to us for fear of judgment or fear of not being listened to.
