My name is Adriana Aycart, LMHC and I have been in the field of mental health counseling now for over 10 years. I graduated with my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University and became a licensed mental health counselor in 2014. I came into this field passionate about being in the process of helping others through difficulties with anxiety, depression, bipolar, issues with self-esteem, relational issues with loved ones, issues with codependency, substance abuse issues, adjustment difficulties, and stress management. My empathetic , genuine, and honest approach is what helps to build my rapport with clients in order to get the healing process started. I am passionate about using the following therapeutic techniques: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, as well as Motivational Interviewing. My main goal is to help clients feel empowered and a part of their own healing process as this is what I have found to be significantly helpful during therapy.
