I am licensed in Wisconsin with twenty years of social work experience. I have worked in a community clinic for the past ten years. I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, and severe and persistent mental illness. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to take the first steps towards a change that promotes a more fulfilling and happier life. I am here to support and empower you in that journey. I use my knowledge, experience, and love of ongoing education to help promote healthy change for my clients. I have training in TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy) and utilize CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) with consumers. I enjoy and utilize information from choice theory, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
