I am a licensed professional counselor with 22 years of experience across a wide range of domains – career, education, mental health, relationship/family work. I have a particular passion for helping clients to manage stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma symptoms that negatively impact their functioning in their relationships or careers. My style is warm, supportive, and light-hearted in general, but I can be intense and emotive when helping clients process through negative experiences and feelings. I don’t believe in telling clients what to do, but I do believe in collaboratively exploring problems and designing solutions together rather than spending valuable time talking about things but not doing anything about them. Your time is precious to me, so I strive to ensure that our time together is productive and helpful. The primary modalities I use are cognitive behavior therapy, but I pull from structural and strategic family therapy concepts and techniques to help improve client relationships as well.
