When we feel overwhelmed, depressed, or stagnant it can be difficult to reach out. When we feel lost in our relationships, our careers, or question our purpose in life, we may not feel satisfied or content. If we think our loved ones don’t understand us, or we’re afraid to open up to them, we may become isolated and lonely. If we catch ourselves in addictive cycles or patterns, we feel defeated because nothing we’ve tried seems to be working. Maybe we battle with anxiety and depression; unable to get out of bed. I blend evidenced-based therapies with mindfulness, creative expression, holistic practices and writing exercises. I work with adults, college students and adolescents struggling with self-esteem, life transitions, trauma, spirituality, and recovery from mental illness, addictions and past experiences.
