I am a Licensed Clinic Social Worker in Jacksonville, Florida. In private practice, I have successfully counseled individuals, couples and families for 30 years. I have worked with men either individually or in groups. I am aware that men don’t often seek psychotherapy but with an open, honest and empathetic attitude I have helped many men deal with relationships, work, business, parenting and self esteem issues. The courage to initiate contact to a therapist should never be minimized. I believe in an inter-personal approach to therapy. Listening to your issues and needs is crucial to beginning an in-depth plan to reach your goals. A non-judgmental and compassionate attitude is my way of bonding with clients. I believe in goal oriented therapy which may include hypnotherapy, humanistic theory and cognitive-behavioral therapy. In addition to a masters degree in social work (MSW) I am also a registered pharmacist (RPH) who owned a pharmacy and home health company for seventeen years.
