I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Nevada (also licensed in Connecticut) with 4 years of counseling experience including working with parents struggling with infertility and loss. I completed my degree in marriage and family therapy but I chose to pursue licensure as a professional counselor. I am experienced in a group setting as well as with, couples, families and individuals. I have worked with clients experiencing issues with self-esteem, depression and addiction. My approach is very much person centered. I value the client, counselor relationship greatly. I keep a calm, mindful and welcoming disposition. While I am most experienced with solution-focused therapy, I also have experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and I am well versed in family/relational systems. As previously stated, my heart and experience are with the grieving community but I value and respect people from all walks and I strive to support them in the best way. I am excited to not only use my skills and experience to support new clients but also to learn from them! I look forward to working with you.
