About me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota. I have worked in the mental health field for over 6 years. My masters degree is from the University of North Dakota. I have experience working with individuals and families. I’ve worked with teens and adults of all ages deal successfully with major life transitions, mental health concerns, behavioral issues and a variety of other life stressors. Such concerns include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, PTSD, ODD and ADHD. I also have extensive experience working with those who are struggling with self-injurious behaviors and suicidal thoughts. I have provided therapy in a variety of settings to include the school, home, hospital and outpatient clinic. I am dedicated to providing you a safe and confidential space to work together through these issues.
My counseling style is warm and compassionate, and I have a great deal of respect for the courage it takes to make positive changes. I am an active and empathetic listener and will offer practical and evidence based solutions to help you move towards your goals. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive behavioral, humanistic and client centered approaches. I use an individual approach and tailor my style to best fit your needs.
