I am a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist in the state of Kansas with over 13 years of experience. I have worked with couples and individuals suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and childhood trauma, to name a few. I have provided EMDR therapy and trauma therapy exclusively in the past 2.5 years specializing in military populations. My counseling style is experiential in that I work with the client toward healing and management of mental health concerns to improve one’s overall health and well-being while maintaining a relationship with the client. My approach is informed by attachment theory and family systems and I use approaches that include Gottman theory, CBT, EMDR, trauma focused counseling and ACT. We get in the boat together and we paddle at your pace. It takes a safe and caring relationship to foster change.
