I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and as an LCSW since 2018. I have worked with diverse populations including individuals within hospital and jail settings. I have worked with those diagnosed with acute mental health diagnoses, addiction, trauma survivors and people trying to rebuild their life. I am comfortable with different backgrounds and belief systems. I’ve taught at the university level and feel that teaching and encouraging others is something that will always be a passion of mine but I’m also always open to learning! I am a compassionate person and I enjoy humor, when possible. I have worked through the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I’m eclectic in my approach and know that there is not one approach that will work for everyone. I am willing to tailor my services to your needs.
