I am a developmental psychologist and licensed clinician in Maryland with 12 years of professional counseling work experience. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was an interpreter for the deaf in the schools for 17 years. It was this experience and attending counseling/therapy that drove my passion to become a therapist myself. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, coping with grief/loss, coping with chronic illnesses, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment through client-centered and solution-based approaches.
