I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I have over 11 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My experience includes working in the prison system, community mental health, and substance abuse. The focus of my practice is helping clients who have been struggling with the effects of a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, personal growth, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, grief, self esteem, life stages and transition, and coping with medical illness such as infertility, and diabetes. I utilize a strengths-based approach and often use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness techniques. However I use the most appropriate and effective modalities to personalize each clients therapeutic process. I strive to provide a comfortable environment, encouragement, empowerment, and support. To equip clients with the tools needed to help manage current and future difficulties. Allowing clients the opportunity to Accept life challenges, courage to Change their current situation, and empowerment to Live the life they desire by finding a healthy path.
