I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) through Alaska and have a variety of work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, eating disorders, anger management, & bipolar disorder. I have worked in community organizations such as domestic violence shelters for women, as a family advocate within the Military context, and with female inmates receiving acute mental health care. I believe you are the narrator to your story, and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Sometimes all we need is a little reminder of that, and sometimes we need a little bit more. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage.
