Hello! My name is Anna and I am a Licensed Social Worker practicing in the state of Pennsylvania. I have over five years of experience. I graduated from Marywood University in 2015 with a Master in Social Work. Most of my experience is in an outpatient setting working with body image as well as disordered eating. I also have experience working with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. I have experience working with veterans, military members, and military families as well. I identify as an anti-diet therapist who utilizes intuitive eating principles when treating disordered eating. I utilize multiple theoretical frameworks when working with clients such as; motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths based perspective. I believe that everyone has strengths and we must uncover them in order to heal. When treating depression and anxiety I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to deconstruct and reframe negative thinking patterns. I provide positive reinforcement and use humanistic theory to allow for a safe and inviting environment.
