Welcome! My name is Armando J. Severino and I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New York with over 5 years of professional work experience. I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults that have had depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, maladaptive behaviors, and many other issues. My approach through the counseling process is integrative and puts an importance on meeting the client where they are at to help guide them through their concerns. I work on identifying your strengths to overcome any challenge you face. The foundation of my skills are from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and more.
