I am a mental health counselor licensed in Florida with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with a variety of populations and issues in private practice as well as those with acute conditions in inpatient settings. I also have a lot of experience working with victims of serious crimes such as child sexual exploitation, domestic violence, and human trafficking. About half of my experience has been working with women and young adults. My counseling approach involves compassion, trust, rapport, and motivation. Some of the counseling models I utilize most are cognitive-behavioral, existential, didactic, client-centered, and solution-focused. I believe everyone has the strength and ability to change.
