I am a licensed professional counselor, licensed chemical dependency counselor and a national certified counselor. I completed my internship partly working with severely mentally ill individuals, many with co-occurring substance use disorders, in an inpatient hospital in Houston. I also counseled pregnant and post pregnant mothers working to migrate through the challenges of motherhood, providing counseling, support, and encouragement to those initially facing an unplanned pregnancy. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I have a special clinical interest in mood and anxiety disorders in young adults and adults. I am currently only offering services to adults at this time.
