As a clinical social worker, I use a strength-based and person-centered approach when working with clients. My expertise the past 4 years is treating anxiety, depression and OCD and I have experience working with clients seeking support for many other challenges as well. My clients include adults, families, couples and children. I personalize each treatment plan and makes sure that I am working with the client, not just the diagnosis. I am trained in multiple therapeutic methods, including CBT, DBT, and exposure therapy. My goal is to make clients feel empowered on their journey through their mental health challenges and other adversities. I am a strong proponent of building a therapeutic alliance with every client I work with – trust and mutual respect between myself and my clients are essential. I like to make my sessions lively and come prepared each time we meet. Therapy is hard work but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun as well!
