I am outgoing, and enjoy travel, nature, animals, and connection with others. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master’s degree and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated in 2013 and have been working with clients for the past 8+ years. I enjoy continued growing and learning about new techniques and attend multiple trainings per year to better serve my clients. I try to meet each client where they are in life and offer a variety of therapy models and work towards finding the best approach for each person. I also use my personal experiences in life, which allows me to join with clients in working through their issues and experiences, while providing skills and tools to overcome them. When working with a client, I believe the most important thing is connection. Having the opportunity to give clients a voice and space to talk freely about issues, fears, beliefs, and anything in between is an honor. I work with people to develop healthier relationships and positive feelings about themselves. I work with women’s issues and developing values, self-awareness, confidence, life transitions, and parenthood. I enjoy helping people work through changes and struggles in life and improving Depressed or Anxious moods. I hope to provide a space for understanding, healing, and growth. Each individual is unique and I value getting to know clients and their story. My passion is to help clients at a safe pace, identify strengths, develop personal growth, and identify possible solutions. I believe we are capable of growing and overcoming obstacles in order to live to our full potential!
