I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland and am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). For over ten years, I have worked with people to help them reconnect with their ability to heal and become whole. I have experience working with trauma issues, grief, depression, anxiety, stress management, and adjustment difficulties. In addition, I also help my clients when they are struggling to manage their careers. Settings I have worked in include hospitals, clinics, private practice, and county services. As a graduate of Loyola University, I have a specialty in pastoral counseling and am very comfortable working with clients on spiritual and religious issues. My work focuses on counseling as a collaborative process that meets your therapeutic needs and primary concerns. Counseling methods include traditional psychotherapies that are based in a client-centered, humanistic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy along with expressive writing, mindfulness, breathing, meditation, and body awareness.
