I am an independently licensed counselor in Arizona with 7 years of experience providing psychotherapy and over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, phase of life issues, and career challenges. My primary area of expertise is trauma and grief. My counseling style is casual and conversational. I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is the key to success in therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach tends to favor Rational Emotive Behavioral therapy and EMDR, but I fully believe that it is important to tailor my approach to meet the needs of my client. Participating in therapy can be such a rewarding experience. Just having another person to genuinely listen and hold space for you can be so cathartic.
