I am Licensed Professional Counselor with 12 years experience. I graduated with a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University, a CACREP accredited university. I have held counseling positions working with young adults, children and families, adults with mental health diagnoses and life concerns, and women specific issues, including addiction and relationship issues. These experiences and clients allowed me to work in various settings such as at homes, outpatient, and residential treatment. I believe that your therapy is led by you and your needs- you know yourself best and I am simply here to assist you. In working with my clients I use modalities that focus on your power over your own thoughts and feelings. I also highlight the messages that have carried us through our lives that work for you or are no longer working for you. Through exploring different areas of your life you identify your strengths to build on and coping skills you already have that work, in addition to creating new skills. I strive to be compassionate, open, and direct with you. It is important to me that you feel comfortable with me and are also getting what you are looking for as we work together.
