My name is Carmen, I am originally from Colombia and have been living in the Unites States for the last twenty-two years. I completed my master’ degree in professional counseling in the state Georgia where I also hold an active license to practice professional counseling. I have had the privilege to work with English and Spanish speaking adult clients to effectively help them overcome issues caused by depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, self-esteem, and abuse. I can help clients maintain sobriety from all kinds of addictions. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to assist people looking to improve their quality of life, shift perspectives from un-adaptive to adaptive and thrive in the midst of adversity. I prefer to work with adult but I also have had success treating clients ages of 13 and above.
