About me
I am a bereavement counselor and a licensed professional counselor in Wisconsin with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor in hospice. I have been providing telehealth support to clients through the Betterhelp platform since December, 2021. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, aging and adult issues, life changes and adaptation and also specialize in pet loss grief support. I have also been a veterinary nurse with 23 years of experience. I have an expertise in pet loss counseling and emotional support with a difficult prognosis with your animal companion. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style takes a holistic approach focusing on the clients mind, body and spirt. My approach is kind, warm and patient-centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines a patient-centered and solution-focused style of therapy.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you and helping you discover the tools to become a healthier you!
