I am credentialed in South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor, with 26 years of experience. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from the Citadel Graduate College in Charleston, SC. My career has encompassed working with individuals, couples and parents (married and single) who wish to foster positive relationships with each other and their children. I also have direct experience as a counselor working in educational settings assisting parents as they negotiate the educational challenges of their children, such as learning difficulties, medical diagnoses, IEP development, and 504 plans. I specialize in helping parents fine-tune their parenting skills and thereby create opportunities to establish a healthier and happier family life for all. My experience includes helping clients solve family conflicts, maintain communication, cope with daily pressures and goal-setting. I offer my clients an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings in a calm, safe setting where they feel supported.
