I am a licensed counselor in Illinois with 6 years of counseling experience, and 9 years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in inpatient hospital settings, schools, and hospice. For the last 5 years, my specialty has been in grief counseling, but I also have experience helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, self-love, and relationship issues. Starting counseling can be scary, so I work with clients to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I am a person-centered therapist that also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into sessions.
