I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been working with clients for the past 4 years. I have aid clients when in crisis, I provide clients with case management services when resources are needed (i.e housing, educational, financial and parenting). I help clients manage some of the daily barriers that can cause destress on a person and those around them. My sessions are usually tailored to the client and their individual needs. I encourage the client at the beginning of treatment to be open and discuss what they want to obtain from treatment. I help and guide the client to identify most pressing goals and explore how to best work towards them. I help clients identify past traumas that might be affecting their current state and utilize psychodynamic interventions. I utilize different modality and approaches in my session. I use them according to where the client is and how they respond to it. I am respectful towards client’s cultures and how culture and family dynamics impact the client.
