Hi, I’m Char and I genuinely love people and enjoy helping individuals like you on their life journey to become mentally whole and healthy, as well as, offer support to those striving to utilize their gifts, talents, and discover their dreams. My theoretical orientation is an eclectic approach to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing, Solution-Focused, and Holistic approach. My own life experience gives me a unique and seasoned perspective. Both of my children have other mothers, so I understand the unique challenges having a blended family can bring. I retired from the City of Orlando and completed my degree while working full time and raising a family to pursue my passion of helping people on their life journey. I have also supported an end of life care for a professional counselor and I am a 2x cancer survivor. I have experience in helping individuals in the areas of ADHD, Anger Management, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Career, Depression, Emotional Issues, Grief, Life and Health Issues/Transition, Sexual Abuse, and Substance Abuse/Addiction.
