I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with individuals on a multitude of issues some of which have included work around the following areas: -Depression -Stress & Anxiety -Substance Abuse -Career Exploration -Grief and Loss -Navigating Family Dynamics -Domestic Violence (offenders and victims) I believe that it takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help so my approach to counseling tends to be to very solution-focused and person centered. My role as a therapist would be to work with you on navigating your lived experiences with the aim of working together to identify your desired outcomes and moving towards those goals. I aim to be supportive throughout the process while also challenging you to ask yourself tough questions when needed. In my experience this approach has been successful at helping individuals to really examine their individual situations and take meaningful steps towards their self-identified goals.
