I’ve had my own meaningful experiences in personal therapy and couples counseling. When I reflect on what I appreciate most about the therapists I’ve connected with, they have had in common a deep respect for my inner knowing. There has been natural warmth and collaboration between us, and the therapist’s role has been like a guide and witness, helping me to find and trust the answers within myself. This is the approach that makes me feel most comfortable as a client, and it’s also how I show up as a therapist. I have a background in clinical mental health treatment, as well as experience in holistic and integrative modalities that focus on the connection of mind, body, and spirit through somatic therapy, nervous system awareness, guided meditation, and mindfulness practices. I have worked with individuals, children, families, couples, and groups. Some more about me, I’m a Mama with a 10-year-old daughter. We have two dogs and a cat who sleep in an adorable pile together. I am an artist, singer-songwriter, and a musician. I love sound healing, and use singing bowls and tuning forks as part of my self-care and spiritual practice.
