About me
Hello. My name is Cindy.
Life can be challenging, and it takes courage and strength to reach out and ask for help. You are already on your way!
Everyone experiences twists and turns, from everyday challenges to traumatic events. We need one another to help us through the difficult times. I am here to help you.
My Practice – Please see below for “Specialties” and “Types of Therapies”
I work with individuals, couples, and families who present with symptoms related to many of life’s challenges. In a safe and compassionate setting – understanding, acceptance, forgiveness, healing, and resilience can be achieved. Together, we will create a plan that will help you process your thoughts and feelings in order to reach your personal goals. It is a journey – one that is more easily traveled together.
Intuitive Development
In the pursuit of healing and well-being, connecting with your intuitive and authentic higher self can support physical, mental, and emotional wellness. This therapy is a form of counseling that treats your mind, body, and spirit as a whole. I offer tools and strategies to assist you in accessing and trusting your intuitive intelligence and wisdom. When accessing your intuitive intelligence, you will learn how to cultivate genuine love and compassion for yourself and others in order to live a truly fulfilling life.
Long COVID
I work with clients who are diagnosed with Long COVID (Post-COVID Syndrome). Many clients present with neurological or psychological symptoms including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and feelings of isolation. Financial stress over lost jobs and income can also be a difficult part of navigating life with Long COVID. I guide clients along their path of healing as they attempt to find a new normal.
End-of-Life and Hospice & Palliative Care (18 years of experience with 4500+ patients)
I provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention to patients, families, and caregivers facing critical and/or life-threatening illness. I offer a range of interventions including psychological support, education, help with decision making around when to stop treatment, and preparing emotionally and spiritually for imminent death.
I provide grief counseling as well as compassionate support to individuals, families, children, and caregivers who are experiencing anticipatory grief during the dying process and grief following the passing of their loved one. I often see a healing shift occur in people as they find a way to remain close to someone they have lost. I offer tools and strategies to help with this process. Once again, this is a journey that is more easily traveled together.
You are welcome to message me anytime through Better Help. I generally check my messages twice a day, Monday through Friday, and I respond within 24-hours. I offer phone sessions and video sessions. What you see in my calendar may not reflect my only availability. Please feel free to check my availability through messaging me first.
One of my favorite messages is the following:
“Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back and choose the path that leads to wisdom.” It would be my honor and privilege to help you along your path.
You can do this! I believe in you.
