Hello I am a LCSW licensed in Alabama, I have 6 years of experience in the, 3 of those years specifically with counseling. I specialize on trauma, anxiety, depression, adoption, self esteem, grief, addiction, and family and relationship issues. My style of counseling is very much “meet you where you are at”, meaning I will always respect your boundaries. Typically I always like to get to know my clients on the first apt and gather enough information for us to learn what you want out of therapy. We will begin making a treatment plan so we can stay in schedule but we can always add more goals or take them out as we finish them. My approach is more on the path of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Solution Focused, and Talk Therapy, but I believe these are always to be added with the clients own style.
