Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I really enjoy being a therapist and working with clients. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. I believe the relationship between the client and therapist is one of the most important parts to make progress. I have been a therapist for over 7 years and love what I do. I have a lot of experience with trauma with emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. I also have experience with stress, anxiety, depression, and parenting issues. My counseling style is warm and down to earth. I use a client centered approach and make treatment goals to work on together. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. I have a cognitive behavior style to therapy but also use a lot of psycho-education and empathy when working with clients. I have been trained in TF-CBT and EMDR. I know asking for help can be very vulnerable and intimidating in the beginning but asking for help is the first step to making a change.
