I believe in short term therapy. My goal is to help my patients to deal with the past, focus on the present and be ready to face the future with confidence and hope. I think the important thing is to see that the patient has a strong self esteem which is the foundation of our character. They are taught to give up control over people, places and things and to communicate as “adults” rather than as a “parents” or a “children.”
