Hello, My name is Dawn and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor for about 8 years now. I have worked with clients in day treatment programs, as well as outpatient programs, with a wide variety of concerns including substance use disorder, depression, bi-polar, anxiety and panic, struggles with self esteem, borderline personality disorder, as well as other mood disorders. My counseling style is person centered, with a focus of building a strong rapport. I have a warm personality that encourages a balance of acceptance and change. I will walk alongside of you all of the way of your therapeutic journey, and help you meet your desired goals. My approach is derived from the use of CBT, REBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, and tailored to fit your personal needs as there are many paths to healing.
