Hello there and Welcome! My name is Deidra Rimsky and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Taking the step to get counseling and support can be scary, especially with someone you’ve never met. I just want you to know that I’m glad you’re here and I look forward to helping you with whatever it is you are seeking to feel better. My background and passion is in helping people manage stressful life events and symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and grief. I’ve worked with numerous women with relationship and fertility concerns. If you don’t see a day or time open on my calendar, then just message me and I’ll see what we can work out. I typically work on scheduling with clients in the chat platform. I make my best effort to respond at least once per day during the weekdays and may be available more often depending upon my schedule. If you message me during the weekend, you may not get a reply until that following Monday. I’ve worked at Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelters and Outreach settings, Community Mental Health, Colleges, Military/Veteran Services Setting, and in the Community. I mainly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Whatever interventions we choose, we will choose together. Sessions are person centered, and we will explore and set your goals together. I work in collaboration with you on your healing process and journey, and what you can expect from me is compassion, kindness, empathy, gentle accountability, and ways to reduce stress and increase relaxation.
