My clinical work has spanned 30 years and covered a wide variety of issues including Trauma, Stress, Anxiety, Military Sexual Assault, relationship issues and couples work. My goal is to support you in gaining insight and strength to resolve the issues that have been negatively impacting your life. Some of the Treatment approaches I use are Gottman for couples, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Traumatic Incident Reduction which are very effective for trauma, anxiety, grief and insomnia. EMDR and ART are particularly effective for Performance Building for issues such as sports, test taking, and skills for work. Trauma resolution is achieved in weeks not months or years. My approach to counseling is warm and engaging , I value each client for who they are and their life experiences. I have extensive experience with the military and families, and am able to understand their unique needs. When working with clients, our work will be tailored and paced to your needs.
