I have been a therapist for 10+ years serving across various communities in the state of Mississippi. I am very passionate about helping others learn to inspire growth within themselves. I am committed to serving individuals of all ages. I have experience in working with early childhood, youths 6-12, adolescents and adults. I have knowledge and experience in individual, family, and group counseling. I specialize in encouraging and teaching skills in family support, team building, mental health counseling and psychometric testing. I have experience in helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, trauma, family/parenting issues, work related stress while building skills in coping, stress management, behavioral management, emotional regulation and support building to help an individual return to coping and functioning independently. I also have experience working with psycho-social rehabilitation services with adults and day treatment services with youths and adolescents. I utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy(CBT), solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, reality therapy, mindfulness therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy(DBT) and a ride range of other therapeutic interventions. I want individuals to learn and understand that everyone at one point or another in their lives needed help and with that help they can be empowered to return to healthy functioning. I also want them to know that by getting the help they need they place themselves in a position to help someone else from their growth.
