About me
For the last twelve years I have provided counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families. My therapy style is very warm, interactive, non-judgmental and sensitive. I help clients find their way through depression and anxiety providing you with new skills in regard to relationship challenges, parenting, emotional abuse, childhood traumas, career changes, making new healthy connections, better life choices and healthier responses to internal dissonance. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, compassion focused, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I am able to tailor our time together to meet your unique and specific needs increasing your capacity to mitigate life issues. My trauma-informed practices incorporate past traumatic exposure to help you understand current emotional and mental disturbances.
I honor the fact that it takes courage to seek a happier and more fulfilling life and face the things that no longer serve you. I will walk with you to take the first steps toward change. I will help you problem solve, set new life goals and establish the life you long to live. If you are ready to take that first step then I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to hearing your story and working with you.
