I have been a licensed psychologist for the past 15 years and have enjoyed my work as a military psychologist for the U.S. Navy as well as a private practitioner. My experience includes work with individuals who suffered from all types of depression, anxieties, obsessive-compulsive disorders, traumas, as well as life issues re: race. culture, discrimination, transgender issues, and other issues related to major life changes. My approaches to therapy include client-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and psychodynamic therapy as well as solution-focused therapy.
