My professional background is extensive and has allowed me to work with many cultures, ages, and stations in life. I come from a teaching and management background, and returned to graduate school later in my career to complete a Master in Social Work. All of my adventures have led me to love clinical work because I am able to help clients from many different backgrounds. My approach to therapy always starts with learning about where my client is right now and why they chose to come to therapy. Once we establish workable and realistic goals, then I can determine which clinical approach may work best. This can be Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, or perhaps solution-focused therapy. Each individual is unique, so one approach may not meet that client’s needs. It all depends on what works best for the client
