I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience working as a social worker on Oahu. I have provided a range of services from therapy, case management, and psychosocial rehabilitation. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, managing life stress/problems, and other mental health providers facing compassion fatigue and burnout. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is eclectic and combines elements of the humanistic perspective, focusing on well-being theory, positive psychology, problem-solving therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
