Emberlene Cossette is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington. She has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years providing mental and behavioral health treatment. Emberlene holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington, Tacoma. She graduated from Saint Martin’s University with honors and earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a focus on ethics and war trauma. Her time as a social worker led her to work with immigrants, detainees, individuals with disabilities, and people of diverse ages, genders, ethnicities, and cultures. She believes that mental health, like physical health, is a right rather than a privilege and recognizes the importance of living a life of quality. “I practice with the belief that despite our perception of aloneness, the cosmos is inherent in all humans.
