The stigma surrounding mental health has lessened in recent years, but it is still very much present in our society. As a counselor, I feel very strongly about helping my clients come to love and accept themselves, flaws included. My passion lies with empowering them to improve and maintain their mental health through the use of therapeutic tools and realistic goal setting. I mix Person-Centered, Reality, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies, but I tailor my approach to my client’s needs. Because I know that finding a therapist you feel you can connect with in your immediate area can be difficult, I also offer video counseling.
