Welcome! My name is Eva Billik and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. I’m excited that you’re here. My goal is to provide the highest quality of services to my clients in a way that is genuine, transparent, evidence based, and client-centered. My counseling style is warm, supportive and non-judgmental as I believe feeling comfortable and establishing a connection with one’s therapist is the primary asset to making therapy effective. It can be difficult to make the first step towards creating change in your life. I truly value the time and effort my clients dedicate to their self-growth and personal development. I actively work to help clients feel supported and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I have more than 6 years experience providing therapy in a clinical setting to individuals experiencing all types of difficult emotions stemming from anxiety, depression, loss/grief, trauma, ADHD, OCD, learning disabilities, personality disorders and more. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Hunter College (City University Of New York), Silberman School of Social Work. I am certified in interpersonal therapy, problem solving treatment as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In addition, I am experienced with trauma informed practice, including trauma focused CBT, as well as using mindfulness techniques. I tend to use evidence based interventions from diverse models to fit the needs of the individual so treatment can be tailored to fit your individual needs. I look forward to this journey with you!
