I am a general mental health specialist therapist licensed in the State of Arizona and have been practicing since 2002 with experience working as a Cognitive Behavioral Health Specialist with a Clinic Certification as a Trauma Professional. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Relational problems, Parenting Issues, Behavior Modification, Career Challenges, OCD, ADHD, Anger Management and Domestic Violence. My therapy style is direct and interactive with the use of Dialectic Behavior Therapy that provides with tools to use and learn to not be be depending in therapy. Respect, Sensitivity, and Compassion is tools that I use to develop trust which is imperative to a successful relationship between patient and therapist. My approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems. Therapy should be a short-term treatment that provides you with the tools and skills needed for to you to be in charge of your life and not be dependent on treatment.
