I am Heather Vaughn, LCSW,(Licensed Clinical Social Worker), MCAP (Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional) and qualified supervisor for Florida registered social work and family therapist interns. I have 8 years of mental health experience, graduating with Masters degree in Social Work from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from University of Miami. My experience as a psychotherapist has given me practice with treatment of anxiety/stress management, depression, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), crisis intervention, eating disorders and family/relationship problems. As a certified addiction professional with six years of experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling, I have a completely nonjudgmental attitude and accepting mentality.
