I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor(LMHC) in New York with over 5 years experience. I have worked with a variety of populations: teenagers; couples counseling, family counseling, adults, children with autism and adults with developmental disabilities. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, struggles in relationships, grief, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is generally eclectic, but I like to focus on CBT due to the nature of the progress it provides, but I will adjust my approach with each client as to what will benefit them. I am highly empathic and an analytical professional who is motivated, caring, and determined in counseling diverse populations in leading healthy lives. I am confident in providing clients with support by validating feelings, actively listening, and using CBT to maintain and improve overall wellness. I am skilled in effectively identifying client’s struggles and need for change in daily routine by using problem solving techniques in order to prevent relapse.
