Paths traveled in life are rarely the straight and narrow. We often encounter twisted roads, bumpy roads, and dead ends. These distractions are just what they are, distractions from getting us to our true destinations. We often need that extra push of encouragement, that new set of directions or even just a moment to regroup, regather, recommit and push forth. Its a normal part of life to face obstacles and we often underestimate our ability to overcome the challenges faced. Maybe you are dealing with conflicts with your significant other, teenaged children, financial struggles, all of this can make depression/anxiety/trauma harder. Maybe you have experienced trauma in your life that you have repressed and you feel as if it is resurfacing and impacting your ability to be the best partner, parent or even person that you can be. I have worked with many individuals over the years who have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety.
