Hi, and welcome to BetterHelp! My name is Jenna Matthews. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) holding Master’s degrees in Community Counseling and Child & Adolescent Psychology. I am a person-centered, strengths-based therapist. That means that I like to let you take the lead. We’ll start where you are, and together, create an action plan for moving forward. We will also focus on your many strengths and identify how we can apply them to your current situation to achieve your best outcome. I’m excited to get to know you better! I believe, as Pema Chödrön wrote, that “life is a good teacher and a good friend.” Still, we all experience times in our lives where we may need some extra support.
